Triggers

Everybody has hurt somebody before in their lives – whether we meant to or not.

But how can you hurt someone without even trying or knowing?

Triggering.


Emotions can be triggered deep within people just from other’s living their lives.

For example, if someone is out of alignment and not living their truth, and you start upgrading and living in alignment to your truth, it can trigger feelings within them that manifests itself negatively and they respond with jealousy or malice.

Generally, it’s people’s words or actions we get triggered by.

The irritation is inner unhealed wounds within us from our experiences in the past.

We then blame others for making us feel this way.


Blame.

Who’s to blame? Who’s at fault? The person who triggered or the person triggered?

Blame can be necessary at times; more so in the name of justice and to aide closure.

Blaming with evidence is holding someone accountable for their actions.

This is fine. It’s about the deliverance and then letting it go once you have said your peace.


“You did this, so that made me do this”.

Another perspective: A person triggered you, you reacted negatively and then blamed your actions on said person.

Can we blame someone else for our actions?

Or are we in control of, and responsible for our actions regardless of what anyone does or says?

When blame and accountability is used as an excuse for one’s self control, we must look to heal our inner.


Focus on yourself.

We are all on our own individual journey.

Know that everyone you meet is a mirror.

A chance to observe…

Yourself. Not them.

Why are you triggered that someone is selfish, or greedy and rude, etc…?

Because either you portray these traits yourself or you have done in the past and you still haven’t forgiven yourself for it.


Use triggers as a positive.

Use them to better yourself. Reflect from others actions, be still and ask why you are triggered and then address it.

When this is honoured and we examine ourselves and learn ourselves from the mirrors others provide, many will live more consciously.

Triggers don’t have to be feared.

Or rejected.

Embrace and understand them and let yourself be better.

Let yourself vibrate higher.
